As a surgical tech for eight years and now a Registered Nurse for ten years, I
know a thing or two about comfort for patients after surgery or a procedure. After
being asked to work for a new vasectomy clinic, I told the Dr. I would, but only if I was the 1st patient! So, after being the 1st patient and helping perform vasectomies since 2014, I feel I know what a vasectomy patient expects before, experiences during, and how he feels after.

In 2018, I had the idea for a post-vasectomy compression short with a built-in ice pack pocket. So, the idea of the Scrotal Compression Undergarment with Ice Pack Pocket, i.e., SCUIPP or SCOOP shorts was born. After many iterations, styles, and materials were finalized, the Current SCOOP SHORT was complete! In June 2019, we started selling the shorts in our clinic, and since then, they have been a favorite for our patients!
